JAMES MCGRATH

James Mcgrath was born and raised in Nenagh, County Tipperary Ireland. Music has always been a part of James‘s life from the time he was a young child. James was brought up around many talented musicians, his father Huey played and toured in several bands inculding Ebony. James McGrath's song writing abilities and lyrics stem from a lifetime of ups and downs just like most folks go through, and he has an immense talent for writing relatable songs for a significant portion of the population.. On his musical journey James was fortunate enough to foster a close personal relationship with one of his musical heroes and personal inspirations Shane MacGowan. James left Ireland and headed to Nashville in 2023 after the Covid pandemic had sidelined his earlier plans.
